KINSTON, NC (JULY 19, 2010) - Today the Winston-Salem Dash activated LHP Santos Rodriguez off the seven-day disabled list. In a corresponding roster move, RHP Drew O'Neil has been released from the White Sox organization.

Rodriguez was placed on the D.L. for precautionary reasons on July 11. He was 1-0 with a 3.76 ERA in 30 appearances prior to his D.L. stint. The hard-throwing lefty is second among Carolina League relievers with 12.91 strikeouts per nine innings. His activation should boost a bullpen that has been hurt by promotions in the second half of the season.

O'Neil was 0-1 with a 14.40 ERA in four appearances with the Dash. He allowed ten hits and ten walks in five innings pitched. O'Neil was promoted to Winston-Salem from low-A Kannapolis on June 27, where he went 4-4 with a 4.06 ERA and one save in 22 appearances.

The Dash's roster remains at the Carolina League limit of 25 players.

Winston-Salem begins a three-game road series tonight against the Kinston Indians at 7 p.m.

The Dash returns to BB&T Ballpark on Thursday, July 22 for a series against the Potomac Nationals.
