
Rocks and Sox Postponed

Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
Wilmington, DE - Due to an electrical storm which hovered above Frawley Stadium throughout the night on Thursday, the Wilmington Blue Rocks' scheduled contest with the Salem Red Sox was postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, with first pitch of the opener slated for 5:05 p.m.
Justin Marks (7-8, 4.32) is slated to take the hill in the opener for the Blue Crew against fellow southpaw Chris Hernandez (10-5, 2.41). Wilmington will send Michael Mariot (7-3, 3.54) to the mound in the nightcap. Salem has yet to announce its game two starter.
The night will feature a postgame fireworks show as well as a performance by top-50 country artist James Wesley and an appearance by REGGY! The Purple Party Dude. For tickets call 302-888-BLUE or visit bluerocks.com.
