Salem Red Sox News Release
Wilmington, DE (August 18, 2011) - A combination of rain and lightning teamed up to postpone the opening game of Salem's road trip in Wilmington. The Red Sox and Blue Rocks will duel in a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 5 PM at Frawley Stadium.
The Salem Sox have won three of the last four games heading into the series with the Blue Rocks.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: Due to a conflict with Washington Redskins preseason football, Friday's twin-bill will be broadcast exclusively on www.salemsox.com and www.milb.com, beginning at 5 PM.
