Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release

Salem, VA - Rain forced the postponement of Tuesday night's tilt between the Wilmington Blue Rocks (20-16) and the Salem Red Sox (21-14). The teams will make up the game as part of a Wednesday afternoon doubleheader with game one at noon. The opener pits ranked right-handed pitching prospect Elisaul Pimentel (2-1, 4.73) against Salem southpaw Chris Hernandez (4-1, 1.72). A pair of highly-touted arms will see the mound in game two. Wilmington's Tim Melville (3-4, 4.95), the 14th-ranked Royals prospect according to Baseball America, opposes the third-best chip on Boston's farm, lefty Drake Britton (1-3, 6.92).

Broadcast coverage begins at 11:30 a.m. as studio host Adam Dobrowolski brings fans the Rocks Report Pre-game Show, presented by Wawa, on 89.7 WGLS-FM and online at wgls.rowan.edu.
