And down the stretch they come! The Rockford IceHogs put together an unbeaten Week 25 (2-0-1), the second to final week of the 2006-07 regular season. The week was highlighted by Preston Mizzi who became the club's all-time leading point scorer, surpassing Mike Figliomeni with 145 career points.

Transactions:
-Rockford defenseman Corey Hessler was activated from Team Suspension on Friday, March 30
-Rockford defenseman Mike Letizia was activated from the 7-Day IR on Friday, March 30
-Rockford winger Jesse Bennefield was moved from the 10 -to 14-Day IR (original date 3/18) on Tuesday, March 27
-Rockford winger Jason Ralph was placed on the 10-Day IR (retro 3/24) on Tuesday, March 27

Center Preston Mizzi netted his 30th goal of the season on Sunday becoming the first IceHogs skater to register 30 goals in back-to-back seasons.
With the goal, Mizzi also became the Hogs all-time points leader, surpassing Mike Figliomeni with 145 points.
Defenseman Dan Boeser has a plus/minus rating of +8 over his past four games.
Winger Bruce Watson became the eighth player in club history to record two hat-tricks in one season.
Rockford reached 45 wins for the third consecutive season.
Before the club's first 45-win season in 2004-05, the IceHogs had never won more than 35 games in a season.
IceHogs Head Coach Steve Martinson has reached the 45-win plateau in each of his 12 seasons of coaching.
The IceHogs picked up its third win on Sunday against Bloomington when trailing after two periods.
Rockford tied a club record on Sunday with its 10th win of the season against Bloomington.
The IceHogs finished the season series against the PrairieThunder with a record of 10-1-2 including 6-0-1 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
Hot Hog Week 25:
IceHogs center Preston Mizzi capped a historic weekend by becoming the club's all-time leading point scorer. Mizzi led the Hogs with 3g-3a-6pts and a plus/minus rating of +6 in three games over the weekend. Mizzi had a goal and three helpers on Friday night and recorded an IceHogs season single-game high +5.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, April 4 vs. Muskegon Fury. The puck is slated to drop at 7:30 p.m. The Hogs and Fury meet for the final time during the regular season as Rockford begins the final week of the season. Wednesday is another Dollar Day at the MetroCentre presented by the rock station 104.9 FM WXRX. Fans can purchase regular size hot dogs, soft drinks, select candy items and peanuts for just $1.
Friday, April 6 at Chicago Hounds. The game is slated for 7:30 p.m. Rockford completes its road portion of the 2006-07 regular season schedule with a game in Chicago. The game is the front end of a home-and-home series with the Hounds.
Saturday, April 7 vs. Chicago Hounds. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Rockford's final tune-up for the 2007 Colonial Cup Playoffs and the back end of a home-and-home series with Chicago. The game is the final regular season tilt for Rockford and the first 1,000 fans to the game will pick up an IceHogs Team Photo from Prairie Rose Apartments and Johnson Press.
HogTalk Returns This Week At Shooter's North:
Bud Light HogTalk returns this week at Shooter's North. The show is hosted by Jim Stone and Double T and this week's show will feature IceHogs skaters Paul Brown and Luke Fritshaw. The show runs from 7-8 p.m. and also features IceHogs Head Coach Steve Martinson. Come on out and talk IceHogs hockey and take advantage of some Bud Light specials at Shooter's North.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all IceHogs Regular and Post Season games on Rockford's Voice, WNTA-AM 1330. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with the B2 Networks! Log on to the IceHogs Web site (icehogs.com) and click on the "click here to watch the game live" icon, and for just $6 you can catch all of the IceHogs action on your computer. Once again this season, ESPN Radio "The Jock" 1380 AM will broadcast 20 Hogs games during the regular season. Check your local listings for game times and dates. Also, fans with Insight Cable television can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action this season. The broadcast begins with the Pregame Show 30 minutes before the puck drops.
