
Rockets Open Preseason Tonight

Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets will kick off their 2022 preseason campaign with a busy weekend that features a home and home series with the Kamloops Blazers and the Rockets players first community event since March 2020.
On the ice, Kelowna will open the weekend on Friday night in Kamloops at the Sandman Centre, the two will then shift back to Prospera Place for a 7:05 pm matchup on Saturday night.
SEASON TICKET BBQ
Prior to puck drop on Saturday, Rockets players and coaches will be on hand for the annual season ticket holder bbq. Bring the family and join the Rockets outside of gate One at Prospera Place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The event is exclusive to Rockets Season Ticket Holders, Club Seat Holders, and Suite Owners. A BBQ Lunch with Pepsi refreshments will be served. All available Rockets players will be on hand!
This event will serve as the first opportunity for season ticket holders to pick up their tickets at the Select Your Tickets box office.
ROCKETS ROSTER UPDATES
The Rockets will be without forward Colton Dach (Chicago Blackhawks) and goaltender Talyn Boyko (New York Rangers), the duo have reported directly to their respective NHL teams' camps.
Earlier today Kelowna announced they had trimmed their roster down to 39 players, including four (4) goaltenders, eight defencemen and 16 forwards.
TICKETS
Single game tickets for Saturday's game as well as the other two home preseason games and the Rockets home opener on September 24th are now available at Select Your Tickets.
Tickets can be purchased online through www.selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office, or by phone at 250-762-5050.
Two dollars from each preseason ticket sold will be donated to Cops For Kids.
BROADCAST
Neither game will have a video stream or radio broadcast.
