Kelowna Rockets News Release
The long-awaited arrival of the Kelowna Rockets newly redesigned third jersey is nearly here.
The team is expected to wear the black third jersey on opening night when they host the Victoria Royals on March 26 at 7:05 PM. In the fall of 2019, Kelowna unveiled a new look for the 2019-20 season featuring CCM's Quicklite jersey technology. The black jersey was expected to arrive in December 2019 but was delayed due to production issues.
The CCM Quicklite jersey features a more breathable fabric that is designed for increased comfort, enhanced durability, and a better range of motion. They also include a new CCM DNA on the back and a new signature collar design.
The red jersey now features the team's primary logo and became the team's away jersey, replacing the black. For the first time in franchise history, the home white jersey has black shoulders.
The new black jersey is expected to be available for fans to purchase in the fall of 2021.
