
Rockets beat Vancouver in OT

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-3 in overtime Saturday night, scoring four straight goals for a come from behind victory.
Mitchell Callahan poked home the winning goal on a scramble 1:29 into overtime to improve the Rockets record to 7-5-1-0. Another sellout crowd of 6,169 fans witnessed the comeback.
The Rockets trailed 3-0 after the first period but scored four straight to earn the win.
Brett Bulmer and Antoine Corbin, with his first WHL goal, scored in the second period to make the score 3-2 after two. Stepan Novotny tied the game with his 10th goal of the season in the third period.
Milan Kytnar, Mike Piluso and J.T. Barnett scored for Vancouver.
The two teams meet again Sunday at 5 p.m. in Vancouver.
