
Rockers Head to Madison Looking for Series Sweep

Ashwaubenon, Wis. - The Green Bay Rockers take on the Madison Mallards for the second time in as many days Friday with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. from Warner Park.
The Rockers enter this game with a 7-6 record in second half play while the Mallards come in with a 4-9 record through the first 13 games of the second half of the 2022 season.
Green Bay and Madison most recently squared off Thursday night at Capital Credit Union Park with the Rockers winning 11-4 behind 14 hits for the Rockers offensively.
Led by Keniel De Leon's five RBIs, the Rockers scored ten runs over the first three innings and never looked back as Tristin Garcia also added three RBIs himself to give the Rockers the home victory.
Will Semb earned the win on the mound for Green Bay, pitching seven innings and giving up four earned runs with one walk and eight strikeouts, earning his fourth win in total on the season.
For Friday's game, Dylan Carter will get the start as he comes in with a 2-6 record and a 2.85 ERA in eight games pitched so far this season.
Carter has tossed in 53.2 innings pitched so far in 2022, with 18 walks and 45 strikeouts while giving up 17 earned runs on 36 hits.
The Mallards will start Thomas Ellisen who comes in with a 1-0 record and a 5.32 ERA. In 14 games pitched so far in 2022, Ellisen has thrown in 22 innings with his last appearances coming on July 17.
Green Bay will next travel to Mequon, Wis to take on the Lakeshore Chinooks Saturday in their second straight road game. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. from Kapco Park.
