St. Cloud, MN - St. Cloud (34-12) returned from the All-Star Break on Thursday and fell 14-4 to Bismarck (16-31) in the series opener.

Ethan Mann (Dallas Baptist) got the Rox off to a great start in the first inning with his sixth home run of the season. Mann drove in three runs to put the Rox on top early at the Rock Pile.

The Rox were able to tie the game back up in the second after a Trevor Austin (Mercer) RBI single. Austin became the third Rox player this season to reach 30 RBI's on the summer.

Out of the bullpen, the Rox got a great performance out of Aiden Adams (Tarleton State). Adams came in and kept St. Cloud in it through the middle innings, throwing 2.2 innings and striking out four while giving up just one hit.

Danny Glenos (Montevallo) also had a strong outing late in the game, getting the Rox to the bottom of the ninth inning. Glenos sent all three Larks he faced down and struck out the final batter he faced.

The Rox look to bounce back with a series split against Bismarck on Friday night with postgame fireworks at Joe Faber Field. First pitch at the Rock Pile against the Larks is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
