Green Bay started the scoring off immediately in the top of the first as Griffin Stevens got an RBI single bringing home Chase Hudson, followed by an RBI single from Keniel De Leon, making it 2-0 early in the top of the first in favor of the Rockers.

Following a scoreless bottom half of the first, the Rockers left two runners on base in the top of the second, but still led 2-0 after the first two innings of play.

A wild pitch plated the third run of the game for the Rockers, scoring Matt Scannell from third and then a two RBI single from Mikey Kluska made it 5-0 Green Bay heading into the fourth, as the Rockers tallied six hits through three innings of offense.

After Green Bay went scoreless in the top of the fourth, Logan Berrier threw two more strikeouts, keeping it a 5-0 game through the fourth inning as Berrier threw four strikeouts in the first four innings.

Despite the Rockers going scoreless in the top of the fifth, Berrier cruised along, retiring the Dock Spiders in order, keeping it 5-0 heading into the sixth.

The Rockers tacked on one more in the sixth off another RBI hit from De Leon, as the Rockers took a 6-0 lead after six innings as the Dock Spiders stranded the bases loaded in the bottom half of the inning.

The Dock Spiders got their first runs of the game courtesy of an RBI single by Jared Payne and a bases loaded walk drawn by Kyte McDonald, but a flyout to center kept the game at 6-2 going into the ninth.
