New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League had a player move today when LHP Tyler Robertson was called to Triple-A Rochester in the International League. Robertson made 7 starting appearances for the 2010 Rock Cats and departs with a 0-3 record and 3.86 ERA.
The 22-year-old southpaw was selected by Minnesota out of Bella Vista (CA) High School in the 3rd Round of the 2006 Draft. The 6'5"/245-pound lefty will be in uniform tonight n Rochester when the Red Wings are scheduled to host Syracuse at Frontier Field.
