New Britain, CT - Portland struck for six runs in the top of the first and never looked back to defeat the Rock Cats, 11-3 before a sellout crowd of 7,018 at New Britain Stadium on Saturday night.
The Sea Dogs jumped on Deolis Guerra out of the gates for seven hits in the top of the first. Che-Hsuan Lin led off the game with a line drive single to center and stole second.
