
Rock Cats Activate Outfielder Brandon Roberts

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League today activated 25-year-old OF Brandon Roberts from the Disabled List. The Cal-Poly State University product was disabled in mid-June of this year with a strained oblique muscle. Up to that point, the Bakersfield, CA native had appeared in 29 games for the 2010 Rock Cats and posted a .306 BA with 5 EBH, 10 RBI and a then team-leading OBP of .420.
Robert's last appearance for New Britain came at home on June 17th against Harrisburg. He will be in uniform tonight at New Britain Stadium when the Rock Cats take on Portland at 7:05 PM.
