New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats today announced the make-up date for last Friday's (6/26) 6:35 PM game against the CT Defenders that was washed out. That postponed contest will now be made up as part of a single-admission, Twilight Doubleheader to be played at New Britain Stadium on Wednesday, July 8th.
Both games of this newly-constituted Doubleheader will be 7-innings in duration, with Game 1's first pitch scheduled for 5:05 PM.
Fans holding tickets for the regularly-scheduled 7:05 PM game on July 8th may now enjoy two games for the price of one. Moreover, fans with tickets for the June 26th Rainout may exchange them for this double-barreled action - or for any other 2009 Regular Season contest remaining on the Rock Cats' schedule.
