The Wings snapped a 5-5 tie in the 11th on an RBI single from Chris Herrmann that scored Evan Bigley from 3rd... After falling behind 5-0, the Wings used a 4-run 8th inning to tie the game at 5-5. Bigley hit his first home run of the season in the 5th inning to put Rochester on the board.

VS. CHIEFS: The Red Wings went just 5-11 against the Chiefs in 2012, their worst mark against any division rival last year... The Wings haven't won a season series against Syracuse since 2009 (their 1st year as a Nationals affiliate) when the Wings won 9 of 16 games... Since then, they are just 14-34 against their NYS Thruway rival in the last 3 seasons.

-Last season, the Red Wings swept the opening 2-game series of the year @ SYR

-The last time the Red Wings won a 4-game series at Syracuse was 7/7-7/10/09 (3-1)

DYNAMIC DEBUT: INF Nate Hanson went 2-for-3 with a 2-run home run in his Triple-A debut for the Red Wings on Tuesday night... He became the 3rd Red Wings player to hit a home run in his Triple-A debut this season, joining Oswaldo Arcia and Chris Colabello who each went deep Opening Day (4/4) @ BUF.

TRIPLE-LESS: The Red Wings are now the only team in all of minor league baseball without a triple after Clinton of the Midwest League recorded their first three-bagger of the season on Monday... It was the Wings that jumped out to a 5-0 lead Tuesday after 2.5 innings, however the Chiefs came all the way back to tie in the 8th before winning in the 13th inning...
