HOT WINGS: The Rochester Red Wings took down the Toledo Mud Hens in the series finale by a score of 6-4, capping off a 5-1 trip to Toledo...Rochester collected 12 hits in the win, including three from RF NOMAR MAZARA, who recorded his fourth double of the year...CF DEREK HILL and 3B CARTER KIEBOOM each recorded a pair of knocks while 2B DARREN BAKER hit the Wings' fifth triple of the season...RHP JORDAN WEEMS picked up his fourth save in the month of May, shutting down the Hens in his 1.1 innings of work...the Wings return home for the first time since 5/14 and hand the ball to RHP JOSÉ UREÑA who's set to make his fifth start in a Red Wings uniform.

TRIPLING IN TOLEDO: The Wings recorded their fifth triple of the season last night and third of the series courtesy of 2B DARREN BAKER's two-run gapper...

Their five triples rank as the third-fewest in the International League...this comes a season after the Wings offense ranked second in the IL in the same category (38)...through 24 games in 2022, the Red Wings recorded 14 triples.

APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY MAZARAS: RF NOMAR MAZARA collected three hits in Sunday's win, including his fourth double of the year...over his last 15 games (since 5/4), the lefty is hitting .333 (17-for-51) with two home runs, four doubles, five RBI and 13 walks...

Mazara carries an OPS of .965 through 16 games in May, as compared to his previous OPS of .700 in 11 games in April.

MAY IS LOOKING BRIGHTER: After recording 12 hits in the finale, Rochester notched ten or more hits in four of the six games vs. Toledo and seven of 12 games over the two-week road trip...

After ranking last among International League teams in the hit category through April (185), Rochester now ranks 10th with 219 hits through 24 games in May.

BRING EM HOME: 2B DARREN BAKER logged a pair of RBI in the win, extending his RBI streak to five games (5/24) which is the second-longest active streak in the International League...

Baker's 25 RBI ranks first among Red Wings batters and his 1-for-5 day at the plate extended his hitting streak to nine games (13-for-38 since 5/19).

KEEPING THE BALL IN THE YARD: After not allowing a long ball last night, the Rochester pitching staff has extended their season-long streak of not giving up a home run to an opponent to five consecutive games (since 5/14)...

The Red Wings pitching staff has allowed the third-fewest home runs (49) among International League teams.

BARRELED: The Wings offense accounted for the five hardest-hit balls Sunday...CF DEREK HILL laced a single at 109.8 MPH for the top exit velo of the contest, which also marked his hardest-hit ball of the season.

ROAD WARRIORS: Sunday's win marked Rochester's fifth win in the six-game set against Toledo...their series-clinching win on Saturday marked their first road series win since 2022 (9/20-25)...the team holds a series record of 4-5 this season, going 1-4 away from Innovative Field...

The Red Wings have an 11-19 road record this season and finished their two-week road trip (5/16-28), going 7-5.
