RHP Tim Adleman (1-0, 5.82) vs. RHP Sterling Sharp (1-3, 6.34)

WILD WINGS: The Rochester Red Wings' 9th inning rally came up short as the squad dropped game four of the series, 3-2, despite outhitting Syracuse...left fielder Andrew Stevenson collected three hits last night, all coming of the single variety while right fielder Josh Palacios picked up the other multi-hit performance of the night, going 2-for-3 with a pair of walks...after RHP Jefry Rodriguez allowed just two earned runs in his 3.1 innings of work, the bullpen followed with 5.2 innings of one-run ball with just two of the five bullpen arms surrendering hits...the Red Wings will send RHP Sterling Sharp to the mound in hopes of taking a three games to two lead in the series...Sharp will take on Mets' farm-hand, Tim Adleman.

A BUSTED WING: With last night's 3-2 loss, Rochester falls to 14-6 in their 20 one-run games this season...additionally, this is just the fifth time in 70 games that Rochester has lost while tied after the seventh inning, falling to 1-5 in that category...since June 15, the Wings' record when they score first and out-hit their opponents is just 1-3 (13-1 prior to June 15)...with Indianapolis's loss last night, Rochester is the only team with a negative run differential and above .500 record in Triple-A.

LEAVIN' DUCKS ON THE POND: After stranding 12 runners on base last night, the Wings offense has now left 10+ on base two consecutive games...this marks the 11th time this season the Red Wings have left 10+ on base and Rochester currently posts a 4-7 record in those contests....over the last five games, Rochester batters have stranded 43 men on base, averaging 8.6 LOB per contest during that stretch.

OUTFIELD, PARTY OF FOUR: Over the first four games of this series, Rochester's outfielders (Andrew Stevenson, Cole Freeman, Josh Palacios, and Matt Lipka) have a combined batting average of .446 (21-for-47), collecting a home run, triple, four doubles, seven RBI, 10 runs and three walks...two of the top 15 batting averages in the International League are claimed by Rochester outfielders (Andrew Stevenson, 3rd, .313, 80-for-256; Josh Palacios, 13th, .288, 51-for-177).

WHEN THEY GO HIGH, WE GO P-LO: Outfielder Josh Palacios went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and two walks in Rochester's 3-2 loss to the Mets...the lefty extended his hit streak to five games, batting .526 (10-for-19) since June 19th...within that streak, the Brooklyn-native also has a streak of multi-hit performances, collecting at least two knocks in his last three games (7-for-11)...Palacios is 8-for-15 with a double and 4 RBI in the series versus Syracuse, batting .452 versus the Mets this season (19-for-42).

STEVEN'S HOT: Left fielder Andrew Stevenson went 3-for-5 with three singles against the Mets, recording his 24th multi-hit game of the season...Stevenson has a hit in 12-of-his-last-14 games, collecting multiple hits in seven of those contests...the 28-year-old now leads the Wings in hits and is tied second in the International League with 80 (one back of Alec Burleson, MEM: 81).

STARTING OFF RIGHT: RHP Jefry Rodriguez went three and a third, allowing just two runs while striking out five...Rodriguez now has 14 strikeouts in 10.1 innings of work against Syracuse this season, good for 12.5 K/9...despite being the pitcher of record in just two of his starts (1-1), Rochester is 8-2 in games started by Rodriguez this year...the Red Wings have won 80% of the games started by the righty, the highest winning percentage of any Wings starters this season.

CAN'T TOUCH THIS: The Red Wings bullpen went 5.1 innings and gave up just one run while striking out 11 batters...LHP Sam Clay (2), RHP Curtis Taylor (4), and RHP Tyler Clippard (2) all contributed with multiple strikeouts...Rochester now has 34 strikeouts over their last two games, tying for the most they've had over a two-game stretch this year (34 4/6 - 4/7 at TOL)...the Wings are 20-12 when striking out 10-plus.

LOOKIN' SHARP: Rochester sends 27-year-old Sterling Sharp to the mound tonight in hopes of taking a 3-2 series lead...in three starts versus the Mets' top affiliate this season, the right-hander has accumulated 13.0 innings pitched in three appearances, allowing just four earned, good for a 2.77 ERA...the Wings will look to improve to 5-4 in contests started by Sharp this season, with the offense posting an average of 5.25 runs in those games.
