Game Notes: The North Division leading Rochester Americans will host the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights tonight at The Blue Cross Arena. The 8:05 contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks.

Head-to-Head: In their first meeting of the season on January 20th, the Knights captured a 2-1 victory over the Amerks. Rochester outshot Omaha, 31-23, but fell to 1-2 all-time against the Calgary Flames affiliate.

Amerks Notes: The Amerks, who have now lost three straight contests, are led offensively by Clarke MacArthur who has 18 goals and 40 assists for a total of 58 points in 43 games this season. His 58 points is sixth among American Hockey League leaders. The second-year Amerk is also on an eight-game assist-scoring streak, in which he has totaled 12 assists. He has also registered three goals in those eight games. MacArthur has added a second streak to his current collection, as he has managed to register points in each of his last 15 home games. Center Janis Sprukts is currently tied for third among league rookies with 30 assists. His 41 points (11+30) is also eighth among first-year AHLers.

Philadelphia Notes: The Knights (30-15-3-1, 64 pts.) currently trail Chicago in the West Division standings by eight points. After winning seven straight contests in mid-January, they have gone 2-2-0-1 in their last five, but won a 4-3 decision over Houston in their last contest on Thursday night. Omaha has been fearless on the road, as they have lost just five games and are 15-5-3-1 when playing away from the Omaha Civic Auditorium this season. Knights' goaltender Curtis McElhinney has been an iron man in net, as he has been between the pipes in Omaha's last 16 games. During the stretch, the Knights have gone 11-3-1-1. McElhinney is 21-10-1 with a .915 save percentage and a 2.22 goals- against average in 35 games this season.

Next Game: The Amerks will play their weekend finale on Sunday, February 11th, as they travel to Hamilton for a 4:00 p.m. showdown with their North Division rivals, the Hamilton Bulldogs, at Copps Coliseum. The game will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks.
