Moose Recall Matt Craig

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have recalled forward Matt Craig from the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.

Craig, 24, has appeared in three games with the Moose already this season after being recalled from Utah on Nov. 4/06. In that time, he collected two penalty minutes. The London, ON native has played in 36 games so far this season with the Grizzlies, scoring a 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points and 44 penalty minutes. Last season, Craig appeared in six games with the Moose after signing a pro tryout contract with Manitoba on January 16th, 2006. The London, ON native scored a goal and an assist for the Moose along with two penalty minutes. In 59 games with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL last year, Craig scored 27 goals and 27 assists for 54 points and 40 penalty minutes.
