Robertson Stars in First of Back-to-Back Games Against Frontenacs Rookie scores his first OHL against brother's team, in front of family and friends
(Peterborough, ON) - Nick Robertson's first OHL goal couldn't have come at a more opportune time, as he recorded the game winner in a 2-1 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs Thursday night.
For the first time this season, the opposing team opened scoring against the Petes, as Kingston went up 1-0 late in the first period.
Adam Timleck registered his fifth of the season early in the second frame to tie the game at 1.
It was a third period power play goal by Robertson that sealed the Petes' 2-1 win over the East Division rival Frontenacs.
Robertson, Logan DeNoble, and Zach Gallant added single assists.
"It was great to get my first goal in front my friends and family that were here," commented Robertson following the game. "The fact that it was against my brother was pretty special, too."
