Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds have announced the first part of the 2017-18 promotional schedule, which includes theme nights, giveaways, community nights and special events.

The "Firebirds Family 4 Pack" sponsored by Dort Federal Credit Union returns for another season for every Sunday home game. The package features 4 Silver Level reserved tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, 2 game programs and 2 game pucks, a value of $120 for $76. Fans are encouraged to purchase this package in advance by visiting the Box Office or by contacting Dominic Gutierrez at domg@flintfirebirds.com.

The Firebirds' fan-friendly home slate this season has six "College Night" games remaining, featuring $2 beers and $2 hot dogs for all fans in attendance, including $2 off tickets for college students, with valid identification.

"Flex Plans" are available for fans that cannot commit to all 34 home games but wish to pre-purchase for a discount at the Dort Federal Event Center. With Firebirds' "Flex Plans" or "Anytime Vouchers," you can select the games you like based upon your schedule! For example, a "Flex 20" package can be redeemed for 20 seats at 1 game, 5 seats at 4 games, or 2 seats at 10 games. "Flex Plan" vouchers are redeemable at the Dort Federal Event Center box office for any 2017-18 Firebirds' regular season home game.

Free Hot-Wing puzzles and birthday cupcakes for the first 1,000 fans

Balloon twisting and face painting for all children

Sat., Oct. 28 - Halloween Trick-or-Treat at the Rink

Kids in costume receive free admission with adult purchase

Sat., Nov. 11 - Military Appreciation Day (3:00 PM)

All military personnel receive a $5 discount off a Silver Level ticket, with valid ID

First 2,000 fans receive official team poster calendar, courtesy of Commercial Graphics

Wed., Nov. 15 - School Day Game (11:00 AM)

Sat., Nov. 18 - Hockey, Heels & Lipstick (Ladies Night)

2-for-1 Silver Level tickets for all ladies

First 500 ladies receive a Firebirds' branded stemless wine glass

A complimentary women's expo on the concourse throughout the game

Drink Specials for all women in attendance

Sun., Nov. 19 - Family 4 Pack Night

Wed., Nov. 22 Stuff the Truck for Catholic Charities & College Night

Fans who bring in 5 canned goods or non-perishable food items will receive a complimentary Silver Level ticket, limit one-per-fan, with all proceeds benefiting the Catholic Charities.

College Night: $2 Beers & Hot Dogs for All Fans. $2 off college student ticket with valid ID.

Sun., Nov. 26 Family Night

Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to launch onto ice after the Firebirds first goal
