Rivermen Year-End Equipment Sale May 5

Peoria, Ill. (April 24, 2007) - Peoria Rivermen Equipment Manager Joel Farnsworth announced today that the Rivermen will hold a year-end equipment sale Saturday, May 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the main concourse just off the Peoria Civic Center Great Hall. All equipment will be sold "as is," cash or major credit cards will be accepted as payment, and all sales will be final.
The Rivermen equipment sale will include a wide variety of articles that were used by various members of the Rivermen during the past 2006-07 season, the team's second as a member of the American Hockey League. Items to be offered for sale on Saturday include, but are not limited to, helmets; gloves; pants; and skates. All pieces of equipment are game-used and exhibit varying degrees of wear.
In conjunction with the equipment sale, the Rivermen will also host a one-day-only spring merchandise sale in the "Captain's Quarters," the official Peoria Rivermen team store. The special merchandise sale will take place concurrently with the team equipment sale on Saturday, May 5. The Captain's Quarters store is located in the Rivermen business offices just next to the newly-renovated Peoria Civic Center Box Office. Look for great deals on Rivermen sweatshirts, hats, t-shirts, and a host of other great items throughout the store during this special one-day event.
