The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned defenseman SCOTT LEHMAN and goaltender DAN TURPLE from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL to the Chicago Wolves. In addition, the Wolves have recalled center COLTON FRETTER from the Gladiators.

FRETTER, who earned league honors as the ECHL's Rookie of the Year this season, paced all first-year pros with 36 goals and 68 points in just 51 contests with Gwinnett and tied for second in the league with 18 power-play tallies. The 23-year-old forward notched the game-winning goal for the American Conference squad in a 6-3 win at the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game.

LEHMAN started the season with the Wolves, earning a +5 plus/minus rating and 14 penalty minutes before being assigned to Gwinnett. The Thrashers' third pick, 76th overall, in the 2004 National Hockey League Entry Draft, LEHMAN tallied 12 assists and 14 points in 72 games with the Gladiators this year in his rookie campaign.

TURPLE posted an 18-13-2 record with a 3.77 goals-against average and a .879 save percentage in 34 outings with the Gladiators during his professional debut this season. The Thrashers' sixth pick, 186th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, TURPLE ranked first in the Ontario Hockey League last season with a 2.25 goals-against average and .924 save percentage. He amassed 40 wins for the Kitchener Rangers, which included a league-best seven shutouts.
