Peoria Rivermen News Release

Peoria, IL (March 21, 2006) - President/CEO Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the team's 2006-07 season-ticket prices for both full-season and partial packages will remain at their 2005-06 levels.

In addition, fans and families, who purchase full-season, 25-game and 12-game packages, will also receive a discount of five (5) cents off every gallon of gas purchased at any one of 93 central Illinois Circle K convenience stores during the 2006-07 hockey season (October through April), with a minimum purchase of eight gallons.

"A recent survey we conducted in late January spoke to us loud and clear about our fans' concerns," Rogers said. "The distance traveled, balanced against the economy and gas prices, created an opportunity to serve them better. With the fantastic support of Rick Cagle and the central Illinois Circle K stations, we are able to offer everyone five (5) cents off each gallon of gas they purchase from October through April, so long as they purchase eight gallons of gas or more.

"For my family, the gas savings would amount to more than $75 over that time frame," Rogers added.

"As we work to continually establish our brand and build loyalty in the central Illinois market, we feel like this was a win-win for everyone, the Rivermen season-ticket holders and Circle K," said Cagle. "As we have grown and developed our business model, Rivermen season-ticket holders and fans have been extremely loyal and willing to patronize our stores. This is another way to say ‘thank you' and to keep them coming back to experience our excellent customer service, superior food and merchandise offerings, and take advantage of a gas benefit that we all can utilize during these times."

Early-bird pricing, which applies to a paid-in-full purchase by May 2, for a full season-ticket package is $535 per seat in the Lower Bowl ($60 savings over the regular price) and $367 per seat in the Upper Bowl ($40 savings). After May 2, package prices increase to $595 per seat in the Lower Bowl and $407 per seat in the Upper Bowl. Partial season-ticket packages will be announced early in the summer.

Playoff ticket packages are available for discounted pre-purchase. A Lower Bowl package, which includes 16 potential home dates, is $264 per seat ($16.50 per game), and an Upper Bowl package is $184 per seat ($11.50 per game).
