
Red Sox Mascot To Visit Springfield

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that the Boston Red Sox mascot, Wally the Green Monster, will appear at the Falcons home game on Friday, March 31 when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:35 PM at the MassMutual Center.
Wally the Green Monster will be available before the game for a meet and greet session at the main entrance of the MassMutual Center. He will be joining Screech in the stands during the game and on-ice during intermissions assisting with promotions. Wally the Green Monster will also host an autograph and photo session during the third period for fans attending the game that evening.
In conjunction with Wally the Green Monster's visit, Peter Pan Bus Lines will be giving away a four-pack of tickets to the Boston Red Sox game on April 19, 2006 when they take on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Fenway Park. Fans displaying the strongest passion for Red Sox Nation will be eligible to win the four-pack of Red Sox tickets, so individuals attending the Falcons game on March 31st are encouraged to wear their Red Sox gear.
The Falcons are currently accepting deposits for all 2006-07 ticket packages, including full, half, and 10-game season ticket packages in addition to 40 and 10-flex packs. Deposits of $50.00 per package are required to secure your ticket plan. The prices for the larger ticket packages of all types have not increased. Prices for youths and student ticket packages of all types have decreased over last season.
The Falcons return to action on Friday, March 24 when they travel to Hartford to battle the Wolf Pack at 7:05 PM. Springfield hosts the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, March 26 at 4:05 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
