March 26, 2016 - SPHL (SPHL)
Peoria Rivermen News Release
CAN I BUY A VOWEL?
Last night's come-from behind win for the Rivermen included two goals and an assist from veteran defenseman Dave Pszenyczny. Since joining the Rivermen in January, Pszenyczny has skated in 30 games, recording 10 goals and 13 assists to go with a +12 rating. Pszenyczny's 10 goals is tied for most among all SPHL defensemen this season, and his five power-play markers leads all league blueliners for the year.
POWER SURGE
Peoria winger Ben Power posted a goal and an assist in last night's Rivermen win, giving him three points in as many games since returning from the 30-day injured reserve. Before his injury, Power had logged nine points in a seven game span from January 31 to February 14. For the season between Peoria and Knoxville, Power has posted 10 goals and 18 assists to give him 28 points in 32 games.
