
RiverKings Start Important Road Trip In Tulsa Tonight

TULSA, OK --- Tonight, an important four-game road trip begins for your Mississippi RiverKings at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Game time for tonight's game is 7:05 PM.
Broadcast coverage will be on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM 560 with Bob Bakken again providing the play-by-play. Pre-game coverage starts the evening off at 6:50 PM tonight.
Coverage of tonight's game will also be available on CHL-TV through the INSINC web casting service. Click on the "Watch Live" button on the RiverKings home page at www.riverkings.com and follow the prompts to watch tonight's game from Tulsa.
Mississippi enters tonight's game with a record of 27-21-7 for 61 points and fourth place in the CHL Northern Conference, one more than fifth place Missouri. Tulsa brings a record of 25-24-6 for 56 points and sixth place in the conference standings.

Of note, Brad Best will be the emergency backup goaltender for Tim Boron tonight. Best was the emergency back up goaltender for the RiverKings when they played in Tulsa on January 30th.
Both Louis Dumont and David Simoes have been granted CHL leaves of absence to attend to family matters. It's possible Dumont will re-join the team this weekend in Allen, but not be available to play tonight in Tulsa.
The RiverKings return home after this road trip to play four of the last five regular season games at home, starting March 12th against defending CHL league champion Texas. Game time is 7:05 PM. The Memphis Boy Choir is featured and there will be a post-game skate on the ice for fans after the game.
Saturday, March 13, RiverKings history will be made when the number 13 jersey of all-time scoring leader Don Parsons is retired. There will be a pre-game video chronicling the RiverKings career of Parsons along with the unveiling of the banner that will remain unfurled from the rafters of the DeSoto Civic Center. Mississippi takes on Bossier-Shreveport in the game that night at 7:05 PM.
Tonight's watch party of Buffalo Wild Wings in Southaven has been cancelled due to other commitments. This weekend's games from Allen will be shown at Buffalo Wild Wings in Southaven, located north of Goodman Road on Airways in Southaven.
