Sundogs Activate Perras, Waive McNulty

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro announced today the team has activated goaltender J.F. Perras and has released netminder Kyle McNulty.

Perras, 28, appeared in 18 games for Arizona this season before being placed on goaltender I.R. after sustaining an injury in the first period of a 4-2 win against the Tulsa Oilers on December 13.

The Embrun, Ontario, native is 7-7-2 on the year with a 3.26 goals against average (GAA) and .898 save percentage (SV%).

Perras collected the team's first shutout of the year with 28 saves in a 9-0 win over the Laredo Bucks on November 4.

The 6-foot, 190-pound backstop was awarded the Central Hockey League's Performance of the Week Award on November 10 after making 47 saves in a 4-2 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on October 30. Perras turned aside all but two shots in the contest including 20 first-period attempts and 18 third-period shots.

McNulty appeared in 24 games for the Sundogs this season recording a 6-15-1 record, one shut out, a 3.43 GAA and a .883 SV%.
