March 3, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Fort Worth Brahmas News Release

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (March 3)- Though it is the shortest month of the year, February became a month of highlight reels for Texas Brahmas goaltender Brett Jaeger as he was named the Central Hockey League's (CHL) Goaltender of the Month.

Posting an 8-2-0 record for the month between the pipes and recording a shutout, his second of the season, it was no wonder why the third season Brahma was credited with back to back "Goalie of the Week" honors. In ten games played the Peace River, ALTA native had just a 1.91 GAA, allowing only 18 goals. Jaeger led the league with a .941 save percentage.

With only nine games remaining in the regular season the Brahmas will look to Jaeger for a collective push and hot run into the playoffs. The Brahmas will pick up play beginning tomorrow night in Corpus Christi when the face the IceRays for a 7:05 PM start. On Friday Texas returns home for a pivotal 7:05 PM faceoff against their Southern Conference foes, Laredo Bucks at the NYTEX Sports Centre. The first 1000 fans in attendance will receive free caps courtesy of NYTEX Sports. The Brahmas conclude their three-in-three game swing Saturday with a home game against the Rapid City Rush at 7:05 PM.
