Mississippi RiverKings News Release
SOUTHAVEN, Miss.âFor many weeks now the RiverKings staff have been toiling away behind the scenes, carefully building and shaping the most recent addition to their arsenal of entertainment: RiverKings 3.0, a new, re-engineered, fully-loaded website.
The site, scheduled to be launched on Friday, Feb. 27, was developed by Infinity Pro Sports. Infinity Pro Sports also designed the official websites of the Central Hockey League, six other leagues, 13 minor-league hockey teams, 27 minor-league baseball sites, four football teams, three stadiums, two soccer teams and two collegiate sites.
"RiverKings 3.0 will be in line with other professional minor-league teams' websites as one of the best websites in minor league sports," said Game Operations and Creative Technical Director Gene Szucs. "It will have a more attractive interface and Web users will have a more enjoyable time maneuvering within it. It's time for RiverKings 2.0 to be put to bed and we're thrilled to join forces with Infinity to produce a tighter web site, which will be fully compatible with most web browsers on the market."
This new version of www.riverkings.com will not only be more attractive and fan-friendly, Szucs said, it also will be more up-to-date and more secure. âKings fans will be able to purchase RiverKings merchandise online for the first time in the Back-To-Back CHL Champions official online marketplace.
Additional features include a re-developed RiverKings message board.
"Our season ticket holders will really benefit from their support to our organization," Szucs said. "Season ticket holders will receive a complimentary membership to RiverKings Forum (the âKings message board) and an exclusive section with video clips, wallpaper and other multimedia goodies I'll pull out of our cellar."
Other interested parties may apply for membership for a nominal fee to be disclosed at a future date. For more information, call the RiverKings office at 662-342-1755.
