SOUTHAVEN, Miss – The two-time defending CHL champion Memphis RiverKings, positioning themselves for a fourth straight playoff berth, will face off for the final time this regular season against rival Oklahoma City on Friday.

The RiverKings, who currently have a hold on the first of two wild card spots in the Northern Conference, will travel to the Ford Center for the third time this season for a 7:30 PM game against the Blazers, who themselves are fighting for a playoff berth.

Memphis is coming off a very successful home weekend which saw them garner two victories, including a 6-3 win against Northwest Division-leading Colorado.

In a matchup against one of the CHL's highest scoring offenses, the RiverKings jumped out to an early lead courtesy of forward Alexandre Mathieu and would never trail during the contest.

The ‘Kings also saw goals from David Turon, Brad Mueller, Jay Neal and Jonathan Gagnon while goaltender Jean-Francois Racine withstood a barrage of Colorado chances en route to his 11th win of the season.

The ‘Kings will also be active this Wednesday, this time at Hunter Brown's, for another episode of "RiverKings Weekly". Airing on SportsPlus 790 WMC, host Dave Woloshin leads an hour of discussion on the 2003-04 RiverKings. Coach Mark Richards, selected players and play-by-play broadcaster Galen Clavio will appear.
