
RiverHawks break attendance record

LOVES PARK, Ill. - This season has become the biggest in the history of the Rockford RiverHawks.
The RiverHawks have broken their single-season attendance record. Entering Thursday, they have drawn 118,104, an average of 2,747.
The RiverHawks set their previous season record of 115,776 in 2006, the first year Road Ranger Stadium was open. Despite losing six openings to weather in 2007, they still drew 113,930. Last year's average of 2,477 was a record. Average attendance is up 11 percent this season.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
