WREX buys the ballpark for Tuesday game

LOVES PARK, Ill. - WREX-Channel 13 is treating the Stateline to a night at the ballpark.
The Rockford RiverHawks announced Thursday that WREX had purchased all available seats at Road Ranger Stadium for Tuesday's game against Evansville. Gametime is 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
WREX is offering the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis to the community. Tickets can be picked up at the stadium box office or at any area Road Ranger gas station.
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 16th season. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255. Most games are broadcast live on WNTA (1330 AM) and the internet. Fans can also visit the RiverHawks online at www.rockfordriverhawks.com.
