KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo Kings will have a six-game homestand starting Tuesday, August 19th. Tuesday - Saturday's games will start at 7:05 pm with Sunday's game starting at 4:05 pm. General Admission Tickets cost $5.00 and Box Seat Tickets cost $8.00.
The Kings will have a handful of great events for their fans to enjoy this week.
On Friday Allegis Credit Union will be at the park collecting blankets for the homeless. Any person who donates a blanket will receive a free ticket. Congressman Fred Upton has joined this promotion and will be collecting blankets at his office on the Kalamazoo Mall. Mr. Upton will be at the game in support of the Kings to participate in the pre-game ceremony. Friday Night Fireworks sponsored by Meijer will follow the game.
On the following Friday and Saturday nights the Kings and Educational Community Credit Union will be collecting backpack donations for children in need. Fans who donate a backpack will receive a free ticket.
Playoff tickets are now on sale at the Kings Box Office for $5.00. Game One will be Friday September 5th at 7:05 pm. Game Two will be Saturday September 6th at 7:05 pm.
The Kalamazoo Kings are a part of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league. The Kings have the best record in the entire League with a 53-30 mark.
