CHARLESTON, SC - The Lowcountry's young and young-at-heart will be able to take pleasure in a quality daytime baseball game as the Charleston RiverDogs team with the Lowcountry Senior Network to host the first Senior Day that coincides with previously-scheduled Education Day that is set for Tuesday, May 5.

Fans who attend the 11:05 a.m. first pitch at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park will be able to enjoy the competition of the RiverDogs' lone in-state rival as the Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees battle the Greenville Drive, an affiliate of the Yankees' primary rival Boston Red Sox.

Through the partnership with the Lowcountry Senior Network and the coordination of their president, Paul MacDonald, the RiverDogs offer all area seniors (ages 50+) and all LSN members a special ticket price that includes admission to the game along with a hot dog and a Pepsi-Cola product.

"We are very excited to be partnering with the Lowcountry Senior Network and hope to have this relationship grow in the future," said RiverDogs Director of Sales Harold Craw.

Seniors interested in this unique offer or any other Charleston RiverDogs ticket opportunity - can contact the RiverDogs Box Office at (843) 577-DOGS (3647).
