
Legends return home to meet Bowling Green, Rome

The Lexington Legends will open a six-game homestand Saturday night at Applebee's Park when they take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. After the game, fans can enjoy fireworks sponsored by ADI.
Saturday night is also Green Night at Applebee's Park. The Legends and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government announced on Friday a partnership in a recycling and education project that will increase recycling efforts and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. LFUCG's Department of Environmental Quality will also sponsor a gym bag giveaway to the first 1,000 fans at Saturday night's game.
The Legends and Hot Rods will play again Sunday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. Following an off day Monday, the Rome Braves come to town for a four-game series beginning Tuesday night at 7:05. Wednesday's start time is 10:05 a.m., as the Legends hold their second Education Day of the season.
The homestand concludes with games against Rome Thursday and Friday nights at 7:05 p.m.
