Legends Open Playoffs Tonight against Southern Maryland

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Lexington Legends begin their postseason tonight, hosting the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at CommonSpirit Ballpark at 6:45 p.m. in Game 1 of the South Division Series.

The Legends enter the playoffs with a 66-60 overall record after capturing the Atlantic League South Division Second-Half Championship. Tonight marks Lexington's first playoff game since 2021.

The 2026 Lexington Legends Playoffs, presented by Paul Miller Ford, begin with Lexington pursuing the second Atlantic League championship in franchise history. Connor Greene will take the mound for the Legends in Game 1.

Fans can enjoy $2 Beers and $2 Hot Dogs throughout the game, while Bark in the Park, presented by Bluegrass Veterinary Specialists, welcomes fans and their four-legged friends to CommonSpirit Ballpark.

Tickets start at just $1 for tonight's playoff opener.

After a memorable regular season that culminated in a division title, Lexington now turns its focus toward chasing a championship. The atmosphere is expected to be electric as postseason baseball returns to CommonSpirit Ballpark for the first time in five years.

Game 2 of the series will be played tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, at 1:00 p.m. at CommonSpirit Ballpark.
