The Sacramento River Cats (86-48) extended their home winning streak to 11 games with a 7-1 win over the Las Vegas 51s (70-62) on Friday at Raley Field. LHP Ed Yarnall (3-3) earned the win, allowing no runs on 5 H in 6.0 IP. 2B Esteban German led the Cats' offense with 3 H. 1B Graham Koonce finished the game with 3 RBI, increasing his homestand (four games) total to 12 RBI. Both German and Koonce homered in the game.
With the win, the River Cats improved their home record to 45-21 in 66 games.
