August 23, 2003 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Round Rock Express News Release
Mark DiFelice's 6.2 oustanding innnins were too much for the Round Rock Express in a 3-1 loss to the Tulsa Drillers.
Mike Coolbaugh homered in the first to get Round Rock started, but unfortunately for the Express, that's all they muster against Tulsa pitching
The lack of of support overshadowed a strong performance from Nick Roberts. Roberts allowed three runs in six innings, bur still got the loss to fall to 2-8.
Outside of Collbaugh's shot, Round Rock managed little offense against four Tulsa pitchers. DiFelice threw his innings and Wade Parrish, Mike Bunatay and Justin Huisman threw a combined 2.1 shutout innings to keep the Express at bay.
DiFelice (7-5) was the winner, while Roberts took the loss.
The finale of the four-game series will be Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
