WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The River Cats return home for a five-game series against the Tucson Padres-the Triple-A Affiliate of the San Diego Padres-with the Pacific South Division crown and a spot in the 2013 postseason on the line. The homestand will feature a Mario Encarnacion Bobblehead Giveaway, two fireworks shows, a between-inning wedding, Recycling Awareness night, U.S. Bank Sunday Funday, Throwback Monday and Toyota Family Value Tuesday.
Friday, August 16 vs. Tucson Padres - 7:05 p.m.
- Fireworks Friday: Enjoy a fireworks display after the game.
- Kids Night Out: Local businesses and organizations have partnered with the River Cats to bring kids in need out to the ballpark.
- Recycling Awareness Night: The River Cats and the American Chemistry Council team up to support recycling. Fans that bring one or more recyclable item will receive a 2013 River Cats playoff voucher.
Saturday, August 17 vs. Tucson Padres - 7:05 p.m.
- Sutter Health Fireworks Saturday: Sutter Health is once again partnering with the River Cats to bring you fireworks across the Sacramento skyline after all 11 Saturday home games this season.
- Lexus of Roseville Grand Slam Saturday Sweepstakes: Win a free two-year lease on a Lexus if the River Cats hit a grand slam in the eighth inning by signing up at Lexus of Roseville.
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Awareness Night: Come out to Raley Field to help raise awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
- Between-Inning Wedding: A couple will get married between the third and fourth innings in a 60-second ceremony on the field.
Sunday, August 18 vs. Tucson Padres - 6:05 p.m.
- Mario Encarnacion Bobblehead Giveaway: 2,500 fans will receive a Marion Encarnacion bobblehead.
- U.S. Bank Sunday Funday: Kids of all ages will enjoy pregame player autographs, face painters and balloon artists, and the opportunity to "Run the Bases" on the field after every Sunday home game.
Monday, August 19 vs. Tucson Padres - 7:05 p.m.
- Throwback Monday presented by Cache Creek: The players will be wearing throwback Sacramento Solons jerseys and hats, popcorn and peanuts are just 50 cents each, and Gus the Organ Guy will entertain the crowd with vintage organ music.
Tuesday, August 20 vs. Tucson Padres - 7:05 p.m.
- Toyota Family Value Tuesday: Come out to the park and enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 desserts courtesy of Toyota.
Additionally, the River Cats will continue their partnership with the inGame App, a smartphone application that offers fans the chance to participate in and win prizes during promotions at all Thursday-through-Sunday River Cats home games.
