SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that left wing Nick Ritchie has been recalled by the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego's National Hockey League affiliate.
Ritchie, 20 (12/5/95), has appeared in 33 games with San Diego this season, recording 15-13=28 points and 55 penalty minutes (PIM). The 6-2, 232-pound forward ranked tied for second among AHL rookies and tied for ninth overall in power-play goals (8), and co-led the league in first goals (6). A native of Orangeville, Ontario, Ritchie made his NHL debut with Anaheim earlier this season, collecting one assist (0-1=1) with four PIM in 11 games.
