Goaltender Doug Carr Joins Reign from Manchester

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that goaltender Doug Carr has joined the team on a professional tryout agreement from the Reign's ECHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs.

Carr, 26, went 6-3-4 in 13 appearances with the Monarchs this season with a 2.45 goals-against average and .928 save percentage. Earlier this season, the Hanover, Massachusetts, native skated in three games with the AHL's Albany Devils, earning a 1-2-0 record with a 2.34 goals-against average and .897 save percentage.

During his rookie season last year, Carr split time with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL and the Adirondack Flames (AHL).
