Riller's Career Night Helps Texas Legends Beat Iowa Wolves, 130-121

DES MOINES, Iowa - Grant Riller dropped a career-high 46 points for the Texas Legends in a 130-121 win over the Iowa Wolves on Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena.

Texas (5-10) erased a 15-point first-quarter deficit by outscoring Iowa (5-12), 35-19, in the second quarter. The Wolves never regained the lead, pulling within one point with Jordan Bohannon's three with just under five minutes left. However, Riller scored 13 of the Legends' final 16 points as they won the second and final game in the season series between the teams.

PJ Dozier led Iowa with 28 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists. Dozier started the game 6-of-6 from the field, including 3-of-3 from three. Craig Randall II started his first game as a Wolve and finished with 21 points.

Matt Lewis had 20 while D.J. Carton posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 assists. Bohannon scored 11 points while Jordy Tshimanga and Phillip Wheeler each had 10 points.

The Stockton Kings visit Sunday and Monday for a back-to-back series with the Wolves. Tipoff Sunday is 1 p.m. CT and at noon on Monday. Following those two games, the NBA G League All-Star Break will be from Feb. 14-21 with Iowa next playing on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. CT when the Mexico City Capitanes return to Wells Fargo Arena.
