NEWS & NOTES

FANTASTIC FRANK: Salt Lake City Stars guard Frank Jackson was named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Jan. 30 through Sunday, Feb. 5. Jackson averaged 27.3 points and 4.0 assists in three games, helping the Stars to a 3-0 record for the week. In recognition of his impressive season, the former Duke Blue Devil earned a selection in the NBA G League Next Up Game.

NEXT UP ROSTER: Earlier this week, the NBA G League announced the 24-player field for the Next Up Game, which takes place on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. ET and air live on NBA TV from the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City as part of NBA All-Star 2023.

Team captains Iowa Wolves forward Luka Garza and NBA G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson will each select a 12-man roster during the NBA G League Next Up Game Draft, which will be broadcast on Feb. 14 on NBAGLeague.com at 2 p.m. ET and then on the NBA App at 3 p.m. ET. The complete 24-player field is below.

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY: On Feb. 7, the Wisconsin Herd celebrated Black History Month by wearing specialty jerseys that showcased 13 different influential Black leaders that made huge impacts in U.S. History. Each player played in a jersey that represented a different legend.
