KANNAPOLIS, NC - In game one of a Sunday doubleheader Intimidators starter Justin Collup held Lakewood to one run in seven innings.

Unfortunately for the BlueClaws (15-8), Andre Rienzo one-upped him in game two.

Rienzo (2-4) threw a complete game shutout, holding the Claws to just four hits in a 4-0 Intimidators (8-15) win.

Centerfielder Jiwan James went 0-for-3, ending his team-record 24 game hit streak.

Kannapolis took the lead in the first against BlueClaws righty Jonathan Pettibone (3-5) and didn't look back, as Ian Gac singled home a run.

The Intimidators added a run in the third on a fielder's choice groundout, and two more came home on a Juan Silverio RBI single and a Daniel Wagner sac-fly in the fourth.

Pettibone surrendered four runs in four innings, dropping his third straight start.

The BlueClaws have Monday off, but will resume play Tuesday at 7:05 pm as RHP Josh Zeid (5-3, 3.09) goes up against Charleston Riverdogs righty Jose Ramirez (3-4, 3.51).
