
Riders Set for Training Camp

Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will open their 2003 training camp in Regina at Taylor Field in just over a week. On Saturday, May 24th, all rookies and veterans will report to Regina. Two-a-day workouts will start on Sunday, May 25th on the practice field adjacent toTaylor Field.
IMPORTANT TRAINING CAMP DATES
Saturday, May 24:
· Veterans and rookies report
Sunday, May 25:
· First day of training camp
· Two-a-day practice sessions begin
Monday, May 26:
· Cut-down day
· Rosters must be reduced to 65 players by 11:59 pm (eastern)
Saturday, May 31:
Pre-season Game One
· Winnipeg at Saskatchewan - 7:30 pm at Taylor Field
Thursday, June 5:
Pre-season Game Two
· Saskatchewan at Edmonton - 7:00 pm at Commonwealth Stadium
Saturday, June 7:
· Cut-down day
· Rosters must be reduced to 50 players by 3:00 pm (eastern)
Saturday, June 14
Cut-down day
· Rosters must be reduced to 40 players by 3:00 pm (eastern)
· Roster limits 19 Non Imports, 18 Imports and 3 Quarterbacks
