
Lions sign Dinkins and Printers

VANCOUVER, B.C. May 12, 2003 â BC Lions General Manager and Head Coach, Wally Buono, today signed Quarterbacks Casey Printers and David Dinkins. In keeping with team policy, terms of the contracts were not released.
Printers was one of the top quarterbacks in the nation when he attended Texas Christian University. While there, the 6'2", 208-pound player, started 22 games in his career, leading the Frogs to an 18-4 record. He also earned himself an honorable mention All-WAC selection by league head coaches. One of four quarterbacks to be featured on the cover of the 2001 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine, he also ranks 10th in TCU history with 2,797 career passing yards.
Dinkins has previously played with the Buffalo Bills of the NFL and attended training camp for the Amsterdam Admirals' of NFL Europe. While at the camp he displayed various skills including throwing touchdown passes, catching touchdown passes, covering punts and returning kickoffs and punts.
