NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - The RoughRiders completed a series win in North Little Rock Monday, knocking off Arkansas 5-3.

SYNOPSIS

* The Riders plated four runs in the sixth to take a 5-0 lead, cashing in on a two-run single from Andretty Cordero and a two-run double off the bat of Eliezer Alvarez.

* Starter Ronald Herrera fired five scoreless innings, allowing his only runner on a first-pitch single in the first inning. Herrera logged a season-high seven strikeouts to earn the victory.

* Ronald Herrera: 5 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 7 K (W)

* Emmanuel Clase: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K (S)

* Andretty Cordero: 1-for-4, 3 RBI, R

NEWS AND NOTES

* Riders pitching struck out 14 Travs hitters for the second night in a row, and finished the four-game set with 49 punchouts.

* Cordero finished the road trip with hits in all seven games, going 12-for-29.
