Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
Today the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced the signings of import defensive back Tedaro France and import linebacker D'Wayne Taylor. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Tedaro France spent four seasons at Central Michigan, starting in 44 games at defensive back. France picked up 140 defensive tackles and three tackles for losses in his college career. The 24-year old also had 11 interceptions and two fumble recoveries. France was named first team All-Mac in 2001 and second team All-Mac in 1998.
D'Wayne Taylor spent four seasons at New Mexico State, starting 46 career games at linebacker. Taylor finished his college career with 364 defensive tackles and 40 tackles for losses. The 23-year old led the Aggies in defensive tackles as a freshman and senior. Taylor was named to the all-conference team three times in his four seasons at New Mexico State.
